Hi,
my name's first part got misspelled in JSC and SSC as "Shahariar" which is actually "Shahriar". So, I was hopping to know what are procedures to correct it, and how long it might take as I will be applying for student visa of Australia so,I need it to be rectified within 15 of this month, is it possible? Are there any faster ways? You're help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

First you collect form from education board. Then make an affidavit attested by first class magistrate mentioning corrected name. And then publish an add of such correction in newspaper and then with affidavit, paper cutting filled up for and along other necessary documents mentioned in the form submit to the board. they will call for an interview and if they things documents are ok then you will get corrected certificates.
other than this you may make an affidavit mentioning your name bearing in different documents are same person and submit to embassy. If they accept then you dont need to correct from the board.
Procedure may take time.
