    If you are the mother then you can get child custody of the 6 month old girl but court always considers the welfare of the child. and If you are the father and wants the child custody of 6 months of ur daughter then you have to prove that she will not get proper care from hr mother and other related issues that can proves you are the right parent to takecare of the baby.
