Mr. A and Mrs. B married each other on 2/12/2000 and the marriage was registered under Muslim Marriage Act where dower amount was Tk. 1,00,000. After 3 years both of them got marry and dower amount was Tk. 5,00,000/-. After one and half year wife was not interested to continue this marriage and forced her husband to divorce. Husband divorced her and she claimed Tk. 5,00,000 as dower.
