Hello, I'm 36 year old male living in Dhaka Bangladesh. I'm married for last 2 years and recently my wife had a baby girl, but happiness didn't last long as my wife is asking for a divorce mainly because of issues between her and my mother, now my question is if we get divorce then what happens to my child as she's only few days old, will she be taken by her mother and I'll not be able to see her? Please do enlighten me according to the laws of Bangladesh.

Your answers:
1. The mother will get the child custody according to law. And if you file suit for child custody then the court will consider custody where welfare of the child lies.
2. You will sure be able to see the child and you are the legal guardian. If she doesnt let you see then you may file suit for visitation right.
