Suppose, I am a service holder as a lecturer in a non-government college. My authority force me to do the work several friday in every month. Is it legal?
First check the rules and regulations of the organization you are working. if there is such rules that you have to work on holidays then that's legal and if there is no such rules then the cant create pressure to do work on holidays. But in case of present country situation when you are not able to attend office on workdays then the office can set rules to work on so called holidays otherwise the organization can be closed for not delivering the work on proper time so it becomes duty of the worker to help the organization but in case when you are working on workdays and also on holidays the organization must pay you extra for such attendance.
